4133 Montgomery Street

This puts a date to the Andersen & Montgomery company. I wonder if the street was named for this guy.

Notice that Lindstrom misplaced the first letter, showing that this mark was emplaced letter by letter. I wonder about his relation to N. J. Lindstrom.

This mark is at the corner of Mather and Montgomery, a prominent location where early masons were eager to put their names. I come here often and keep examining the mark in different light, and I’m ready to call it a J. Bowen from 1922. In the thirties, Bowen used a simpler mark.
