This is the first Castro Valley contractor’s mark I’ve seen, but down near the Coliseum it’s not as much of a surprise. Kevin Court is a forlorn little block, right across the tracks from a remarkable graffiti wall.

A. J. Ferrero marks are elegant and consistent between 1952 and 1974, but then there is this alternative design right in the middle. Was this his flower-child phase??
