Another new date, although this is merely a patch job on a driveway rather than a nice new pavement. But I’ll take it, given the great rarity of 1970s marks.

160 Moss Way
I can picture “Harmony House” in detail, because that’s the kind of hippie house I’ve lived in more than once, complete with Captain Crash, Speed and various other characters. I rarely include amateur sidewalk marks, but this is rare and here it is.

41st Street at 4070 Opal Street
The house at the corner of 41st and Opal is a century-old Craftsman in immaculate shape, with this A. J. Ferrero stamp and a 1940 McGettigan. This is only the second stamp I’ve found from the seventies. In 1974 I moved back to the Bay area, and a movie star was governor then too.
